Day 2 Art Trail

Although the day was wet and miserable, with the wind and rain coming from the south, there were still lots of visitors to my studio, one group especially came to see the dyeing demonstrations 🙂

Here are some more pics of my studio with the sail ceiling.

The sails are 5m triangles and three of them didn’t go very far in the 12m square space, but they do hide the roof a little.

Here is one of’ Jen’s necklaces on a classic bust – doesn’t she look great.

Today is just as cold, but the air is not so thick with water, you can at least see some distance away.  It’s Father’s Day here , so hopefully lots of people will be out and about and come down the channel to do the art trail.

  1. love the bust, wher did you find her?? The sails look fantastic, in fact it all looks fabulous! Very arty and those quilts on the wall are great.
Keep up the good work, it will pay off! 🙂

  2. I found her in a shop-outfitting shop, along with a manequin for my jackets. They had all sorts of display type stands/boxes etc for things from earrings to pamphlets to clothes to wall brackets for racks of little boxes.
She is a bit small for scarves. but necklaces are perfect on her. And she is made of alabaster.

  3. I agree she’s beautiful, and the sails look great
