Caterpillar quilt

Such a lovely afternoon, sun shining and bees buzzing, but I have been inside working and I can tell you that the hungry caterpillar quilt now has all its borders and is ready for quilting.

Thank you to all those who helped me decide on the last border, in the end I went for the yellow rather than the dark red, it has toned it down considerably, and frames the middle quite nicely.

And now I can go out visiting without a guilty conscience – my friend Ruth, is having her 70th birthday and we are helping her to celebrate.  I’ve still got a few years to go before it’s my turn.
